In less than a day I had my first issues, I was defiantly skeptic, because I had just been scammed, but I thought I just paid for these catalogs so I'm going to take a look with an open mind. I did just that and wrote to 3 of the ladies you had featured, I got a response form two of them right away. But it was very funny I don't know why I wrote to more than one, I knew the first one I wrote to was the one I wanted to write back and she was the first to reply. It has only been two weeks, but I have exchanged many letters with Olija as well as spoken with her on the phone. We have found that we have many things in common and I am currently planning a trip to her City to meet her. I have an interesting story for you. As I am sure that you receive lots of email, I will keep this letter short and sweet. 

About a year and a half ago I signed up for your Starter Help Package. In the beginning, I received almost 100 responses from women in all regions of Russia/Ukraine. While there were several that caught my attention, most of the correspondence died out at a very early stage. Many of the women did not write back after 1 or 2 emails. To make a long story short, I put my efforts to find a Russian bride aside to address some other personal issues that had surfaced. 

Amazingly enough I received a response about 6 weeks ago through an online agency. They say that God works in strange and wonderers ways and for whatever reason, the girl who wrote (her name is Elena) and I have literally hit it off. I am very excited about the opportunity that has developed and she is equally excited. I found it amazing that my personal ad from over a year ago could result in my meeting a girl with great future potential. 

I've spent a great deal of time reviewing the information on your web site over the last several weeks. The information you have posted has proven very valuable. Late last week I mailed a large, hardcover book that describes the Phoenix, AZ area (where I live). It contains many pictures and information about the area so that Elena may get a general idea of the lifestyle that she may be taking on. I also included a card in the mailing. She lives in Cheboksary. 

We have sent 10 or 12 emails back and forth. She has been using a marriage agency to assist her with all correspondence (I know that this is a good sign thanks to your website). I have even corresponded with Elena Shemarova at the agency (e.Lena). She has been very helpful in getting things set up so that I may assist my "hopeful bride to be" with the costs associated with the agency. 

Our next goal is to speak on the phone. I have already researched time zone differences between AZ and the Moscow area and I have started to search for reasonable long distance rates. I am also starting to look into renewing my passport and researching travel options. 

I wrote this letter to thank you for posting all of your valuable information. I also thought you would find my story a bit interesting since so much time had passed since starting my "search" using your starter package. It certainly proves that such relationships are not only possible but potentially very rewarding. I will keep you informed on how things turn out.

I can not find the words to express the depth of gratitude that I owe you for changing my life. Prior to discovering your web-site I had been searching for a partner in Easter Europe for almost four years. During this time I wasted countless hours of my life communicating through dishonest agencies, wasted trips to Russia and scams amounting to thousands of dollars. We have met on several occasions in Novosibirsk, Thailand and Turkey and I am just about to embark on another trip to Novosibirsk to ask her to become my wife. Dear Elena,

I want to thank you for all your help. I placed my add in February 2001, and in a month I began corresponding with Hugh Robinson from Christchurch, New  Zealand. Our letters were long and frequent; we knew each other more and more and found so many things in common. He was so far from me, in the other part of the Globe, but I always felt his care and support, as if he was
just close to me. In January 2002 he invited me to New Zealand by Visitor's Visa for a holiday. We discovered great chemistry, and those 3 weeks were the shortest and happiest in my life. Then Hugh asked me to marry him, and I gave him my YES answer in April, when I was already back in my native c city Samara. In October 2002 I arrived to New Zealand on Fiancee Visa with my 12-years-old daughter Mary, and we got married on November, 23. We are very happy, and still don't realize how it could have happened that we've found each other. It's such a gift form the Universe. I never knew that my real soul mate lives in the other part of the world. Now life is getting better and better every day. Thanks again, dear Elena.

Katya and I have now been in daily correspondence since the end of October 2002, and have both just returned from a wonderful first meeting in Antalya, Turkey. We have 'chosen' each other for further relations, her terminology :) and are now exploring our visa options.
